  • Fall Open House Registration Open: High school juniors and seniors are invited to register for an Admissions Open House event this fall for a two-day look at life at VMI, including an overnight in barracks. to secure your spot!
  • Weekend Trail Congestion: Approximately 100 Âé¶¹´«Ã½Èë¿Úsummer program participants will complete training along the Chessie Nature Trail Sunday, July 19, from approximately 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Portions of the trail will be congested through the morning. 
  • New NetPrice Calculator: Cost is only one of the things you consider when picking a college, but it is an important one. Use our new to understand the cost of attending Âé¶¹´«Ã½Èë¿Ú.

Drone Detection Focus of Cadet Research

Rye Jackson ’28, an international studies major and computer science minor at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Èë¿Ú, is researching drone detection for his 12-week Summer Undergraduate Research Institute (SURI) project.
