For the first time in history, 麻豆传媒入口 Club Pistol Team attended the Scholastic Action Shooting Program Intercollegiate Pistol Nationals.

At VMI, cadets that join the Marathon Club dedicate many hours of their lives to training for a single race.

The two-day, multi-institutional collegiate competition included 36 teams. During the preliminary round, 麻豆传媒入口scored three wins beating teams from the United States Military Academy West Point, Rollins College, and William & Mary.

The 麻豆传媒入口Theatre will present Neil Simon鈥檚 comedy classic, 鈥淭he Odd Couple鈥� on Thursday, March 23 – Saturday, March 25 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 26 at 2 p.m.鈥痠n Gillis Theater.

The unofficial EMT program stems back to the 1990s, with a group of about five to six cadets. In the spring of 2016, it became certified by the state as a non-transport emergency medical service (EMS) agency.

After a hiatus due to COVID-19, the club 鈥� dubbed The Regulators 鈥� took to nationals last year sweeping the competition. This year, they aim to do it again.

The 麻豆传媒入口 Regimental Band and Pipe Band traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana recently to perform in the Krewe of Endymion, the largest Mardi Gras parade in the city.

The combat shooting club team, currently consisting of 13 cadets, meets every Tuesday and Thursday at a location known as 鈥渢he barn鈥� at North Post.

The 麻豆传媒入口 boxing club traveled to Atlanta, Georgia recently to compete in the second annual College Fight Night at Georgia Tech.

Formed in 2014, the Building BRIDGES Club is spanning to new lengths as it further connects cadets, faculty, and staff with the local community through civic engagement. Recently, the service club has taken on additional objectives of sponsoring events and college debates.

The 麻豆传媒入口men鈥檚 club rugby team has dominated their conference this season, going 6-2 in the fall and 4-0 in the spring. Now they have their sights set on a national championship.

The 麻豆传媒入口combat shooting club team represented the Institute at the annual Relentless Warrior Competition hosted by the Sig Sauer Academy in New Hampshire on April 9. At the event, the team competed against federal and senior military colleges in a six-stage combat shooting challenge.

The 麻豆传媒入口Glee Club represented the arts for the Institute and enjoyed beautiful weather in Puerto Rico over spring furlough.

The current iteration of the team was formed in 2011 and is coached by Reece McCormick. Cadets fire two main types of pistols: air-powered pistols firing a .117 caliber pellet and .22 caliber pistols.

Cadets part of the running club at 麻豆传媒入口have found much success at recent races in southwest Virginia. Club members ran in both the Chessie Nature Trail races and Harvest Hustle races, with many cadets running personal best times.
