When Gracie Harlow ’27 started her collegiate career, she felt like she was going through the motions and not obtaining any growth. She started at Hollins University, an all-female college near Roanoke, but ended up transferring to Âé¶¹´«Ã½Èë¿Ú after two years.

Eight 1st Class commissioning cadets recently traveled to France through the Olmsted Foundation’s Undergraduate Program. One of the many assignments the cadets were given was to research the personal story of an alumnus who had died during the battle, and is buried at the Normandy American Cemetery.
