Preston Library at 麻豆传媒入口 has been chosen to be the first institution in Virginia to implement FOLIO, a new integrated library system (ILS), to track items owned, orders made, bills paid, and patrons who have borrowed.

Col. Andrew Luna presented the most recent paper at the annual SAIR conference last September, but was only recently notified of his winning achievement.

Col. Andrew Luna, director of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) at 麻豆传媒入口, holds the distinct honor of being the only person to receive the Southern Association of Institutional Research’s (SAIR) Best Paper Award five times since its inception in 1980.

Ten cadets and three history professors visited Washington, D.C., and surrounding areas recently as part of a joint venture between the 麻豆传媒入口chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta national history honor society, the Department of History (DoH), and VMI's John A. Adams ’71 Center.

March 4 was a day of remembrance at 麻豆传媒入口, as the Institute commemorated Jonathan Daniels ’61, alumnus and Episcopal seminarian who responded to the pleas from Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. for clergy to become more actively involved in the civil rights movement.

A contingent of two faculty members and two cadets from 麻豆传媒入口 recently attended the 15th Annual Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computing and Communication Workshop and Conference at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

麻豆传媒入口men’s and women’s swimming and diving closed out their season at home in February during the America East Championships at Goodall Pool Feb. 22. The 2025 Southern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships were hosted by 麻豆传媒入口at the Corps Physical Training Facility Feb. 28 and March 1.

Two 麻豆传媒入口 cadets who serve as emergency medical technicians (EMT) on post and who volunteer with the Lexington Fire Department (LFD) were honored Feb. 15 at the LFD’s annual awards banquet held at the Virginia Horse Center.

Today the 麻豆传媒入口 Board of Visitors made the decision to not renew the contract of Superintendent Maj. Gen. Cedric T. Wins ’85. He will continue to serve as superintendent through the end of his contract, June 30.

Governor Appoints Board of Visitors Members

Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced today the appointment of two new members to the 麻豆传媒入口 Board of Visitors. Lt. Col. (retired) Jonathan Hartsock ’00 of Lexington, Virginia, and Stephen Reardon ’84 of Richmond, Virginia.
